After graduating from Villanova Law School, John served as a lawyer while he was a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps. He joined Power, Bowen & Valimont in 1968, becoming a partner in 1973 and serving on the firm’s Management Committee. When Power, Bowen & Valimont merged with Fox, Rothschild, O'Brien & Frankel in 1999, John was Managing Partner for the Doylestown office until joining Antheil Maslow & MacMinn, LLP in 2002.
John has taught law classes/seminars at Delaware Valley College, and has made numerous presentations on Estate Planning and Estate Administration. His Bucks County community involvement spans more than three decades: John is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce, and acted as their legal counsel for ten years. He chaired the Endowment Committee of the Bucks County Audubon Society, was President of the Board of Trustees of Tabor Services, Inc., and is a past member of the Board of Friends of Peace Valley Nature Center, where he also served as board president. He was also a member of the Central Bucks Family YMCA Board of Trustees and served as president of the Board of Directors, during which time he was presented with the “Lois Burpee Award” for exceptional services to the Central Bucks Family YMCA.
