The Aark Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center, Inc. The Aark is dedicated to the rehabilitation and release, when possible, of injured and orphaned wildlife and the education of the public on man's impact on the environment.
Aldie Counseling Center * Aldie Counseling Center provides a warm and caring environment in which individuals and families can address substance abuse problems with a variety of educational and professional therapeutic experiences. Assessment, treatment and referrals are offered as appropriate.
American Lung Association of Pennsylvania * The mission of the American Lung Association is to promote lung health and prevent lung disease.
The American Red Cross
The American Red Cross – Southeastern PA Chapter helps local communities prevent, prepare for, and respond to disasters, from house fires to floods. Each year, SEPA Chapter trains thousands of people in life-saving skills (e.g. water safety, first aid, CPR) and collects thousands of pints of blood, in addition to disaster response and victim assistance.
Our mission is to provide free medical care, dental care and social services for low-income, uninsured residents of the Greater Central Bucks County Area.
BARC is a non-profit agency in Bucks County, which offers programs and services to 900 men, women, and children with developmental disabilities. Programs include Early Intervention, Supported Living, Employment Services, and Seniors Programs.
Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve features 100 acres of native plants of Pennsylvania, with nearly 1,000 species of wildflowers, trees, shrubs and ferns for the public to visit and enjoy. Our mission is to lead people to a greater appreciation of native plants, to an understanding of their importance to all life, and to a commitment to the preservation of a healthy and diverse natural world. Open year-round, the Preserve offers guided walks, educational programs, bird watching, plant sales and other activities for all ages.
Buckingham Friends School Buckingham Friends School, a Quaker day school for children of all faiths in grades K-8, inspires a lifelong love of learning, nurtures a respect for the light in every person, and fosters a sense of spiritual community. Financial aid is available. EITC participant.
BCAS is an environmental education organization. Our mission is to generate awareness, education and above all else, a sense of stewardship toward the environment.
Founded in 1973, the Bucks County Choral Society is an auditioned, volunteer choir based in Doylestown, PA. Under the direction of Artistic Director, Thomas Lloyd, the 100+ voice choir performs in venues throughout Southeastern PA. It’s repertoire ranges from classical to contemporary.
Bucks County Genealogical Society We are a non-profit organization for people interested in pursuing their family histories. Members annually receive three Newsletters and one Journal and may submit one free query of 30 words (per Newsletter issue). We are not part of the Bucks County Historical Society – we are a separate entity and looking for a new home.
Bucks County Historical Society The Bucks County Historical Society, a non-profit organization, operates the Mercer Museum, Fonthill Museum and Spruance Research Library. The Historical Society promotes an understanding of history through objects, architecture, art and documents. A wide range of programs for all ages are offered year round.
Bucks County Symphony The Bucks County Symphony is the premier community orchestra in Bucks County. We Are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization with a mission of serving the community by providing residents with a local, affordable venue for enjoying classical music. Our orchestra musicians range from talented high school students to experienced community members who perform five concerts each year under the skillful direction of Maestro Gary S. Fagin. Each concert is performed with an energy and passion unique to our orchestra.
Central Bucks Family YMCA is a non-profit organization serving over 10,000 members of all ages, incomes and abilities through a wide variety of programs such as child care, youth sports, teen-centered activities, fitness, swimming and camping. We do extensive outreach, collaborate with other community organizations, provide financial assistance and promote health and wellness in our community.
We are a community center operating 10AM to 4PM Monday thru Friday. We have all types of activities available to our members. We serve Area Agency on Aging meals provided by Aramark services. We charge $10.00 for dues once a year.
Chandler Hall is a non-profit organization, guided by the Quaker principle of seeking God in everyone. It provides an array of quality care services for aging individuals, their families and caregivers, who become a part of the Chandler Hall Community. Child, Home and Community is dedicated to building a better future for children by empowering teen parents through education, advocacy and collaboration in order to increase healthy births, ensure family stability and work toward self-sufficiency.
Children's Cultural Center Since 1990 the CCC has been enriching the cultural and historical education of Bucks County youth. Our programs are presented in libraries and school classrooms; International Day Celebration is held at Bucks County Community College; we mentor teens who participate in the Congressional Youth Award Program.
Children's Developmental Program is an early intervention preschool and childcare program that provides a quality integrated preschool experience to children in Upper Bucks County.
Churchville Nature Center Churchville Nature Center is an environmental education center with a mission of education for our youth and communities and promoting land stewardship. Facilities include a visitor center, two miles of nature trails, wildlife gardens and a Lenape Native American Village.
Community Conservatory of Music Individual lessons and group classes in music, visual art, and acting with professional faculty. Charitable outreach programs for disabled, seniors, at-risk children and financially disadvantaged.
CONTACT Greater Philadelphia * Contact Greater Philadelphia answers suicide and crisis intervention telephone lines as well as warm lines providing free and confidential services to the five county Philadelphia areas. Assess and send in life-saving interventions, when necessary. Provide reassurance services to isolated seniors, 365 days/year. Make and receive 110,000 calls/year, using volunteers we recruit and train.
County Theater
Doylestown Hospital is a 207-bed acute care hospital. We are non-profit and will confirm in writing all tax-deductible contributions. Donations are accepted for all hospital departments, programs or unrestricted for the area of greatest need.
Friends Home and Village are two small communities offering affordable retirement living in the Quaker tradition.
Friends of the Delaware Canal The Friends of the Delaware Canal is an independent, non-profit organization working to preserve, restore and improve the Delaware Canal and its surroundings. Our primary goals are to ensure that the Canal is fully-watered and the towpath trail is continuous.
Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania serves over 5,000 girls ages 5 through 17 in Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh, Montgomery, Northampton, and Philadelphia counties. GSEP was chartered May 1, 2007. We are a volunteer-based, non-profit organization with 17,000 adult volunteers.
Good Friends, Inc. * Good Friends, Inc. is a licensed community-based residential treatment program providing comprehensive behavioral health services for adult men recovering from alcohol / drug addiction.

HealthLink Medical Center HealthLink Medical Center provides free medical and dental care and prescription medication to adults from Bucks and Montgomery counties who are working, uninsured and earning within 200% of the federal guidelines. Care is provided by mostly volunteer staff of over 60 experienced and caring physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, dental hygienists, and support staff. HealthLink serves about 2,000 patients a year. It receives no government funding and is supported by private donation of funds, services and supplies.
The Hepatitis B Foundation The Hepatitis B Foundation is a national nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to finding a cure and improving the lives of those affected by hepatitis B worldwide through research, education and patient advocacy.
The Heritage Conservancy, founded in 1958, promotes open space preservation, natural resource protection, property stewardship, historic structures, wildlife habitat restoration, biodiversity, and sustainable agriculture. These goals are achieved through professional land use planning and design, public outreach and education, innovative land conservation and historic preservation strategies, and the application of “best management practices” for property stewardship.
Lenape Valley Foundation provides quality mental health care and mental retardation services to residents of Bucks County. A comprehensive range of services has been developed based on the identified needs of our clients and community.
Meals on Wheels of Central Bucks, Inc. * We serve an average of 63 clients two meals per day Monday thru Friday. Our pantry aids help prepare the meals on the trays and our delivery people take it to the clients. Our pantry aids and delivery people are all volunteers as well as the Board of Directors.
Network of Victim Assistance * NOVA provides 24-hour hotline support, information and referrals, crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, court accompaniment and referrals for victims of sexual assault and other serious crimes. NOVA also provides violence prevention and safety education programs to schools and communities. All services are free of charge.
PSBI is a private non-profit organization with three distinct functions that operate with one common mission of promoting the legacy and dreams of Pearl S. Buck. Her commitment to improving the quality of life and expanding opportunities for children, promoting and understanding the values and attributes of other cultures, the injustice of prejudice, and the need for humanitarianism throughout the world.
Planned Parenthood Association of Bucks County Planned Parenthood offers affordable, comprehensive reproductive health care (including testing and treatment of STDs and anonymous HIV testing) in medical offices in Bristol, Bensalem, Doylestown, Quakertown and Warminster for women, teens and men. Conducts sexuality education programs in community settings and schools. Provides advocacy for freedom of choice. Sliding-fee scale for all services.
Point Pleasant-Plumsteadville EMS
We are a combined volunteer and career non-profit Emergency Ambulance Service. We provide Advanced and Basic Life Support to residents in the Upper Bucks County area.
The Quaker School at Horsham The Quaker School at Horsham is a Friends school for bright children who learn differently.
RAP, Inc. is a state licensed, therapeutic group care residence providing round the clock care for adolescent, non-delinquent girls who are working out difficulties within themselves and their parents.
SEPCADD, Inc. The mission of the South Easter Pennsylvania Council on Alcoholism & Drug Dependence, Inc. is to improve human life affected by alcoholism and other drug addictions. This is accomplished through prevention, education and intervention programming.

Tabor Children’s House Tabor Children’s House is a private, non-profit community child development center, licensed through the PA Department of Public Welfare. Awarded the highest Keystone STARS rating (fourth star), the center offers child development services that include day care for infants through kindergarten students, before and after school care for school-age children, and a summer camp.

Village Improvement Association is a 114-year-old non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the health and beauty of Bucks County. Vita Education Services brings learning to life for Bucks County residents by providing literacy, GED preparation, Adult Diploma Program, Family Literacy, English as a Second Language (ESOL) and Personal Decision Making© programs in both the community and the Bucks County Correctional Facilities. Services are provided by trained volunteers and professional staff.
