Two Antheil Maslow & MacMinn, LLP Attorneys Establish Business Law Section at the Bucks County Bar Association
DOYLESTOWN, Pennsylvania (April 14, 2008) Antheil Maslow & MacMinn, LLP, a Bucks County-based full-service law firm, announced that two of their attorneys, Partner Krista P. Harper and Associate Joanne M. Murray, spearheaded the creation of a new Section for Business Law for the Bucks County Bar Association (“BCBA”) of Doylestown, Pennsylvania. The BCBA, whose purpose is to provide support and fellowship for the advancement of the legal profession, currently provides eleven Sections, each representing a particular area of the law. The Business Law Section’s mission includes educating BCBA members and the local business community in the area of business law, and fostering fellowship among the Section members. Adrian L. Meyer, Esq., President of the BCBA, said “The Bar Association is very pleased to have Krista Harper and Joanne Murray suggest the new Business Law Section. They are doing a great job and there is a tremendous amount of interest among the members of the Bar Association – we are fortunate to have such enthusiasm.” Murray commented that the idea for suggesting that business law group within the BCBA was prompted by a desire to provide business lawyers with opportunities for professional growth, interaction with other attorneys and the community. She remarked, “Business Law Section members may look forward to enhancing their business law knowledge and expertise, making new professional contacts, working with the local business community, and participating in local Continuing Legal Education programs within their area of practice.”
Harper serves as a Partner for Antheil Maslow & MacMinn, LLP, specializing in the areas of real estate, business and finance. Murray, an Associate with the Firm, concentrates her practice in the areas of business transactions, corporate law, contracts and commercial finance transactions.
Antheil Maslow & MacMinn, LLP to Display Artwork from the Children’s Gallery of the Michener Museum
DOYLESTOWN, Pennsylvania (April 8, 2008) Antheil Maslow & MacMinn, LLP, a Bucks County-based full-service law firm, announced today that they are promoting a temporary art exhibit on loan from the Children’s Gallery of the James A. Michener Art Museum (“Michener Museum”), from April 1 until August 28, 2008, in their Doylestown, Pennsylvania law office. Approximately 20 selected works, by public school students from Bucks County, Pennsylvania, ranging from kindergarten to twelfth grade, will be loaned from the new Children’s Gallery Permanent Collection. Clients visiting the Antheil Maslow & MacMinn, LLP office will be treated to this visual delight; this artwork is not for sale and the temporary exhibit is not open to the general public. Those wishing to see the entire Children’s Gallery Permanent Collection may visit the Michener Museum during their 20th anniversary celebration from September 5-25, 2008, or visit their Web site (www.michenerartmuseum.org) for more information.
Artwork for the temporary exhibit will be both abstract and representational, and art media will include watercolor, pastel, collage, tempera, graphite and mixed media. Keri Smotrich, Communications Coordinator of the Michener Museum, shared, “We are very pleased to have the opportunity to share this art. The goal is outreach: we hope new viewers will enjoy the Children’s Gallery Collection, and will then visit the museum to discover our other Children’s Gallery exhibits, to experience the rich and welcoming resource that the Michener Museum is for people of all ages.” Antheil Maslow & MacMinn, LLP Partner Krista Pool Harper added, “For the last several years, we have been paying local artists to exhibit their work in our offices, providing support to them both financially and by promoting their art to a new audience. Our firm and our clients have come to look forward to the ever-changing exhibit.
