As an estate planning attorney, Abigail’s practice is focused on helping clients identify the important issues to be addressed in their estate plan. Her goal in every engagement is to develop a relationship with her clients in order to understand their goals and priorities and to help them find the best plan to address their needs and wishes.
Upon graduating from law school, Abigail served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Gary B. Gilman of the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas. During her tenure with Judge Gilman, Abigail was frequently involved in matters before the Orphans’ Court, analyzing legal issues arising from will contests, estate administration, and guardianship proceedings. This experience has provided Abigail with a clear understanding of the probate process, the Court’s perspective in estate litigation arising from conflict among beneficiaries, and the impact of estate litigation on families and interested parties facing this difficult process.
Abigail earned her J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. In addition to being a member of the Villanova Law Review, she served as a research assistant, conducting legal research on tax policy and equitable relief available within the Internal Revenue Code. While in law school, she was also a summer associate at a Wilmington-based law firm, gaining valuable transactional law experience. Abigail is a graduate of Dickinson College, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude in International Studies.
