Susan A. Maslow, Co-Founder and Partner of the law firm of Antheil Maslow & MacMinn LLP, will moderate a panel discussion on September 3rd, 2026 in Chicago during the ABA Business Law Section Fall Meeting. The panel will offer legal professionals an in-depth exploration of hardcoded U.S. corporate sustainability laws, regulations, and statutes, guiding companies on essential compliance requirements. Panelists will discuss the impact of recent Supreme Court decisions on non-discrimination, review current ESG-related legal obligations—human rights, environmental, and social—and analyze ISS and Glass Lewis ESG assessment methodologies. The session will address risk assessment and mapping and provide strategies for navigating the complexities of current Executive Orders. The hope is that attendees will gain actionable insights to help their organizations build robust compliance programs and adapt to evolving standards in sustainability and governance.
In addition to her business law practice, Ms. Maslow serves as chair of the Corporate Social Responsibility Law Committee of the ABA Business Law Section.
