Summary

As an estate planning practitioner, Jocelin Price knows that the work of developing an estate plan is really all about families, their goals and aspirations, and the legacy they want to leave behind. Whether the focus is, wealth and asset preservation and planning for future generations, safeguarding a family business through succession planning, or identifying health care and end of life preferences, Jocelin takes the time to know her clients and understand the story of their family to guide them most effectively through the estate planning process. Throughout her career, she has been a trusted advisor, helping clients identify the important issues to be addressed in their estate plan, and demystifying the most difficult questions. Jocelin’s goal in every engagement is to develop a relationship with her clients so that she can help them feel comfortable with their choices and find the best plan to address the needs and wishes of their family.

Jocelin Price concentrates her practice primarily in estate planning, asset protection and wealth transfer planning, planning for retirement and life insurance benefits, probate and trust administration, and estate and trust fiduciary litigation issues. In addition, she focuses on special needs trust planning, guardianship matters and prenuptial agreements.

Jocelin works closely with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and their families, helping them implement their estate plans. Beyond preparing core planning documents such as Wills, Revocable Trusts, Powers of Attorney and Living Wills, Jocelin has extensive experience in developing more advanced planning techniques, including Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts, Generation Skipping Trusts, Family Limited Partnerships, Limited Liability Companies, Intentionally Defective Grantor Trusts, Grantor Retained Annuity Trusts, Qualified Domestic Trusts, Charitable Remainder/Lead Trusts, and Private Foundations.

Jocelin is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Bucks County Bar Association and Bucks County Estate Planning Council. Jocelin is the past Chair of the Orphans’ Court Section of the Bucks County Bar Association, served on the BCBA/BCBF Leadership Council and serves as Secretary of the Bucks County Estate Planning Council. She volunteers with the Wills for Heroes program and lectures on the importance of the coordination of assets with the preparation of an estate plan.

Jocelin graduated from Lafayette College in 1997 with a degree in Government and Law. She continued her education at Widener University School of Law where she earned her J.D. in 2001.

In addition to her legal practice, Jocelin is actively involved in her community. She has volunteered as a lacrosse coach for Central Bucks Athletic Association (CBAA) and served as the Secretary of the Central Bucks Athletic Association. Jocelin is also on the Executive Board of the Mothers’ Club at La Salle College High School.
